A Moment With You
This series is a little bittersweet, but comes from a place of appreciation for moments experienced. As I've spent these last few months reflecting, growing, and healing from my various relationships, I've found myself recalling moments of warmth with those I was lucky to spend time with. Whether it was the way she would laugh to herself, the way she'd look at me in a brief pause from her focusing on work, the way she used to dance after she tasted a food she liked, the way she'd express her comfort with the way she carried herself around the apartment, there were always moments that made me feel as if all time stopped, and all I was left to say was "Wow, I am so lucky". I want to create those moments and that feeling of warmth and nostalgia with this series.
Objective
1) The Main objective is to create a mini series, and potentially an E-Magazine, of a collection of nostalgic moments.
2) Practice various uses of natural light within golden hour in an enclosed space.
3) Experiment with various color grading looks to achieve that nostalgic feel
4) Pair images with a quote of our choosing to create a poetic moment remembered

What It'll Cost You
Nothing!
Seriously, I genuinely just want to create with you. So it will really only cost you your Time and Dedication to the expression of the moment.
Your Steps
1) Review the prompts and start thinking about what moments you'd like to create
2) Choose a couple looks to bring that express who you are in those moments. This can range from lounge wear, pj's, lingerie, or heck even a snuggie. Get comfy, get cozy. For On locations, wear your favorite date outfit.
3) Gather any snacks or props you'd like to include to assist your story telling
4) If the project interests you, fill out the form as best you can and get excited to create!
Portrait
These images will be focused heavily on eye contact. Your hair doesn't have to be done up, your make up doesn't have to be put together, but as long as your eyes connect with the lens, you're golden. Think of the moments of admiration, of tough conversation, the moments of pensive thought, and even the moments mid laughter where you can't help but look to see if they are laughing too.
Nostalgic Candid
These images should feel as if we are observing you in everyday life. Reading, drinking, cooking, lounging, working, housework, snacking, etc. Pick a moment or activity that you enjoy and let's capture you in the moment. It's these small moments that leave lasting impressions.

Why a magazine?
Though we live in an incredibly digital world, there is something to be said about the power of a physical, tangible, product. My hope for these magazines are to open opportunity for models to see themselves in a magazine and give their friends and family something to show off. Models who participate in the magazine can promote sales for the magazine for 90% of the revenue made from sales in their name. It may not be much, but any amount to support your journey and passion is a step in the right direction to me.
