Posting Order

In the industry, you'll find yourself at the mercy of the client on when you can and can't post images. To replicate that environment, these deliverables will be treated the same. Below is the order in which we encourage posting priority. I ask you please respect the order as best as you can! Think of it as practice for NDA's (Non Disclosure Agreements)

1st - Designers Pick

As the creatives share their deliverables, the designer gets priority to select and post the images before anyone else. This allows them to have the impactful reveal and launch that they wish without anything getting spoiled.

2nd - Models Pick

After the first round of postings have been made, we then open them up to the models to choose which images to select. This is more so a practice for the creatives to disconnect from the idea that we need to post first and to find peace and understanding in the excitement of our models and clients posting our work first. This also shows us their perspective of our work, which in turn can give us a new sense of pride and accomplishment we may not have seen otherwise.

3rd - Creatives Pick

The third and final stage opens posting for everyone. Go crazy, have fun, tag everyone involved as well as the location! You can find the various tags throughout the brief, but reach out if you need any handles that you don't immediately see!

Event Feedback

Let's get Constructive!

I really want as much feedback as possible in order to better structure this event in the future. I sincerely appreciate everyone's participation and support, but I know there is always room for improvement. Help me improve, help me create something truly special for this creative space. The good. The bad. All of it, this is a safe space.

Just labels, no names needed!

The brief, communication, appointment setting, vendor options etc.

Time slots, variety, direction, etc.

The Video Inspiration

Leharr Collection x Santi Homme Creative Event

Welcome Everyone!

I want to first thank everyone for being apart of this creative event! I am incredibly excited to bring so many talented individuals together and create some breath taking imagery.

by now you will have been added to a group DM on Instagram and have confirmed your availability and commitment to the date and time of the event. This brief is here to detail out as much information as possible for you to be as prepared as you can for the event. There are bound to be further questions, so don't hesitate to DM or email Jon!

I encourage everyone to reach out to models or creatives they are excited to work with and discuss a general game plan if you feel possible. This structure is meant to put on some pressure and encourage efficiency as you would feel within the industry. It at times may feel like a lot, but just remember that we wouldn't have selected you if we didn't already like what you do, so be confident and have fun!

General Notes for Pre-Shoot

Hair and Make-up

As we are going to be outdoors, our designers are not looking for Full Glam looks. Aim for a natural simple & clean look.

For Hair, Leharr is open to half up half down, low curls, open, and bun looks

Getting Dressed

Come dressed in comfortable easy to change clothes or clothes you can wear under the garments. Yoga pants are recommended for comfort.

When you arrive, there will be a mobile changing area offset from the parking lot. You'll first get dressed into your garments, and you'll then be directed to get your jewelry on.

Heat & Comfort

Throughout the evening, please communicate any heat discomfort or garment discomfort. We are here for you and your safety is our top priority!

Jon will have waters, snacks, and a mobile fan on hand. Please feel free to bring your own snack pack and water bottle!

Current Shooting Structure

(This structure will changed as needed to provide optimal content time with everyone)

I strongly recommend each photographer to have a shot list ready and to reach out to each group of models and vice versa.

The Photography Portion

How you choose to split that amongst your models is entirely up to you! I.e. more solo focused or more group focused.

After the event, I ask that each photographer submit a minimum total of 11 images to be shared with me to send over to Leharr for their use and promotion. You are always welcome to send more, 27 images is ideal, but minimum 11 imgs (1/model and 1/group).

Here is a shot list for those 27
3/model Wide, Medium, Close (end total 24)
1/group (end total 3)

The Video Portion

20 Minutes Per Group

Would like some Vertical Format

We have 2 goals with Video during this event:

20mins Post Photo:

1) Commercial/ad focused. Like the video banner and video shown here, Greg and our other videographers will aim to create content of similar style for Leharr and Santi's brands. Each group of models will have 20 mins to work with Greg/other videographers after their photography portion to achieve either of these looks. I recommend communicating within your group to coordinate some sort of joint narrative to follow.

30mins During Photo:

2) Social Media content Focused: purely BTS and reels content for social platforms. Can include commentary/interview if time allows.

Each Videographer is asked to edit and submit a total of 30sec-1min of content or a highlight video and/or commercial ad for Leharr and Santi.

Model List

Below is an example of what the end model list will look like.

We are Looking to cast 10 models, mixed 6 Male and 4 Female presenting models. I know some photographers have some suggested models, I will be sure to note that in their casting section!

After the casting call, the selection process will proceed as follows:

  • Leharr will reveiw all their casting options and select their ideal models from the list
  • Jon will get confirmations from the selected models
  • If applicable, models will then set up a fitting appointment with Leharr
  • Leharr willl either select their piece, or send Jon 2 options to choose from
  • Models and their select outfits will be presented below and divided into groups based on either Leharr or Jon's discretion
  • Any desired shot lists will also be presented
  • Final information for all posting will be presented in a Google Sheets doc through the button below

General Note for our Female Models

Assuming I can't land us a makeup artist willing to collab or that isn't leaving town, here are our general notes to best prepare you for the shoot:

Hair Options

Loose Curls or Half Up, Half Down

Shoe Options

Nude or Gold Heels

Make Up

Natural or simple beauty. Ideally makeup that can compete with the heat and sweat

A General Note for the Male Talent

Firstly, thank you for coming together so last minute. I know we scrambled to find you all but we appreciate you and know that even if you do not have professional model experience, our photographers and creatives are professionals in what they do. Follow their lead and the lead of the experienced models around you and you'll do just fine!

Our On-set Assistants

@nine7productions , @its.ederia.fyi , @FCAM_Rufflez , @madelynparmentier

What does an On-set Assistant do?

As an on-set assistant, your role will vary from group to group. Jon will be assigning you to a group/pod that he feels you will be most effective. Your overall task is to provide support and comfort to our Models, our creatives, and designers. Here are just a few ways how you can support them:

Creatives

Feather the light, bounce the light, block the light, feather the dress, fluff the dress, fix the hair, blotch for sweat, physically support the creative if they are leaning back or over a ledge to keep them from falling. Learn from your professional and communicate if you'd like to hop in and photograph at all! Don't be afraid to ask for assistance during your photo time

Models

Water, water, water! Snacks, fanning, check in between each set, look for hair or makeup, watch for jewelry fixes or dress fixes, think hospitality 101 and keep our models in tip top shape!

Designers

The designers will give general guidelines to what models and creatives can and cannot do in their gowns/suits. It is your job to keep creatives and models accountable or minimize any potential distress on the clothing for the designers sake

Testimonial Video Ref.

Greg and I will be aiming for this level of quality for the testimonials/ interviews. Focus on keeping a shallow DoF and keeping our talent in their respective 1/3 of frame. (1/3 side will vary to what is available)

Photo Mood Board

I have always been in love with Indian Bridal Couture gowns and imagery . I use them as my inspiration for a lot of my photography goals. I am looking to create the same level of quality and aesthetic for these images!

If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out via email, text, or Instagram DMs.

Thank you so much once again for your time and consideration to create with me! It really means a lot and I hope this project helps you in any way it needs to!
