PLEASE NOTE
This current version of the proposal is only visible to those of us that met for our initial consultation: Kayla, Sarah, and Jon. After there is an agreed upon proposal, I will be updating this brief to reflect what requests have been made/content to be covered.
This will then be our main resource to reference throughout our content partnerships.
Parties Involved
Content Contractor Scope
This is the current contractor scope that I have reviewed for this work. If there are any changes that need to be addressed outside of what has been presented, we can schedule a meeting.
3 month contract @ 1 shoot a month - Currently 2 SKUs
- Studio Rental Fee (as an option)
- Model(s) fee (as option)
- Prop Budget
- Delieverables: 6-10 edited photos/month, mix of lifestyle and product shots
Product Photography
Standard Product Coverage includes the following deliverables:
- Table Level
- Flat Lay
- Product Placement
- Lifestyle
These are the standard approaches and can include hand modeling in addition to the standalone product as needed.
Table Level
Straight on table level is the primary form of showcasing a product. It also allows for the widest variety of pouring and hand model movements
Flat Lay
Flat lays are a great opportunity for quantity and ingredient based imagery. Lighting is typically easier to control with these images as well.
Product Placement
Product placement is the subtle way of integrating lifestyle and product when connecting with your audience.
Lifestyle Photography
Lifestyle photography is the bridge between your product, and your consumer. These typically involve 2-3 vignettes for your brand to utilize over several content platforms. I have a wide network of professional talent agencies for casting if needed as well

Lighting Options
Natural Light
Natural light is the most time efficient lighting option. It also provides a sense of comfort, relatability, and nostalgia when used properly. However it is not always consistent/reliable through longer shoot days or lower light settings.
Off Camera Flash
This will be my primary form of lighting for our imagery. Off-Camera Flash is use for crisp detail in shape and dimension in your imagery. You can use this kind of lighting setup to show emphasis. This usually requires more space to utilize fully.
Additional Creative Content Option
Below is an example of additional content coverage opportunities available if needed
The 9-up
The 9-up is a powerful and flexible creative package. The general idea is that I create 9 pieces of promotional content revolving either one menu/drink item or general theme/event. The example shown revolves around the launch of a new menu item. These were posted throughout either the day or the week on Instagram with various areas for call to action from our community. Any of these could be a stand alone post as well. One way to utilize the 9-up would be to introduce any holiday drinks or first Friday Vendors throughout the week. There are many ways to use this design, if you have any questions we can most certainly talk through them!
Payment Options
Direct deposit, invoice fulfillment, or check preferred
*Per Session Basis
Most common
Per session basis is what I typically see here in KC, setting aside a day and paying a day/hourly rate to cover as much product as possible in the allotted amount of time. Creatively open option
Product Photo Hourly Rate: $300/hr = $1,200
~3 Sessions for ~4hrs = $3,600
Model Budget - $100/model
Per Product Basis
Remote/Hands off Option
Per Product basis includes any variance of photography deliverables per product. This is what I typically see when companies send me product in bulk to work on remotely over a set amount of days with no deliverable limitations. This allows me ample time per product and the option to revisit any products necessary at a time most convenient for me during the days indicated. This allows for more creative options. Daily updates will be shared if this option is chosen.
ex breakdown:
2 items @ $1000 a product = $2,000
~3 sessions = $3,000
Model Budget Included
Per Image Basis
Deliverable Strict
Per Image Basis is based around an agreed amount of deliverables per product to be created. The session fee is lowered, and a day is set aside for complete coverage specific to the shot list for deliverables. This is typically an option with images that may also need some additional attention during the post production process. Photoshopping, graphic design, retouching, etc
ex. breakdown:
~10 edited images @ $75/image = $750/product
~3 Sessions with 2 products = $4,500
The Content Ratio
Content ratios help us determine priority in time during shoot days. Below is an example of what the ratio depicted in the scope entails.
100% - Photo
The majority of your deliverables will be Photography based. Photography of the menu items will be prioritized and will determine the overall presentation of the video content to follow per item.
100-0
0% - Video
No Video deliverables have been discussed at this time.
