Almost Everything You Need To Know

But First
THANK YOU!
Seriously, I am so grateful to have you both to call on and trust. Know that I truly wouldn't have asked for your help if I wasn't confident in you being able to pull for me. You have shown you have the eye and the professionalism, all that's left is to take in the details and help keep the flow efficient with me
STEP 01

Review the Briefs
I try to make these briefs as detailed as possible, but as weddings go, I can't always promise I'll have every answer prior and I definitely wont have all the answers day of as I typically default to the Bride and Groom and work off their general status throughout the day.
STEP 02

Waffle Friggin House Meet-up
We'll start with pleasantries, I miss you guys and want to catch up proper, but I do want to be sure to briefly go over any questions you may have and give advice for prep where needed. We will have time when I come back into town again to practice with gear and things.
STEP 03

Prep gear and practice/visualize
If there are shots or gear that you haven't practiced with or need to test, like seeing how long you can film before batteries drain or how sharp images are with lenses in low light, camera flash attachments etc, be sure to spend the next couple weeks in prep doing so!
I'm just a discord call away if you need any second opinions or confirmation
STEP 04

Execute as best you can, trust your instincts
Day of, you're not expected to have it perfect, in fact I expect you to hover until given a task or coverage asks. However, try your best to cover what you can without me. Follow your mark or nail your focal length, and I guarantee you'll do just fine.
The Indian ceremony will feel like the most hectic and intimidating, and that's because they are in fact hectic lol but trust your instinct. If it looks or feels important, capture it. For video, keep the bride and groom/important figures in frame as often as possible at minimum 3/4ths body, wide preferred.
