How do you approach your photography sessions?
I approach any portrait session with the Client's best interest in mind. Though I still leave room for us to get creative together, I know the importance of making sure you have the images you envisioned. Every session will have some form of consultation to make sure I am the right fit for your needs! I welcome inspo/mood boards and your personal touches of creativity if you have a strong vision for your coverage.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm currently based out of the Crossroads District of Kansas City, MO and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, event, or journey, it will require a travel fee/coverage, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to travel as I sincerely appreciate you believing in my talents enough to bring me to you! Each destination service is treated on a case-to-case basis to ensure all parties are getting the best deals. For local events and jobs needing paper backdrops, I also offer mobile studio options to best meet your needs and convenience.
When will we get our photos?
Turn around for photos are completely session-by-session based. I typically give a minimum of 2 weeks turnaround for photography and minimum 1 month turn around for larger video projects, but depending on various factors that may arise during the shoot or the edit, that estimation may be altered to ensure I deliver a product I'd be proud to send you.
How many pictures will we receive?
I like to work off minimums when it comes to deliverables. I always aim to capture a wide range of perspectives so that you can get the most use out of your images. Each session found within my site will give an estimation on your minimum deliverables to be received.
Do you retouch your images?
All images receive color correction and basic retouching (blemishes, pimples, etc) and a couple edits in a color grade that I think suits your gallery. This color grade can be applied to other images of your choosing through the utilization of the "Favorites List". tool within your galleries.
I should note that I do NOT off photoshop retouching as an inherent service. I. personally am not the most talented at it and am still learning. I do have a talented editor who is well versed in Photoshop to whom you can utilize as an add-on to your coverage.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, I do! Every session, aside from Modeling Digitals and Headshot sessions, requires a minimum of 50% non-refundable deposit day of booking. The remainder is typically paid either 1 week/month before the session, or even day of! With every session we will discuss payment plan options. For larger jobs like weddings and large corporate events, the deposit is required to hold your date and offer more options for payment flexibility.
